How to overcome depression?
Well, I don’t know exactly and finding a way out of it can be a long and painful journey. That’s why I have reached out for help.
On Mother’s Day 2023, I openly shared the ongoing struggles of my mother in the hope of getting some advice.
This was my initial post:

A mother, struggling with unbearable depression and anxiety. She is stuck in her own dark reality. Self-destructive thoughts overtake her beautiful soul. This is where my mum is at, and it’s real—no Midjourney stuff.
My mother has been grappling with depression for almost two years. Numerous therapies, months spent in specialised clinics and heavy medication have shown very little effects, and it’s worsening fast.
If you have any advice, recommendations, or resources that you can share, please don't hesitate to reach out to me at @cedricschanze. I know that the power of the internet can be a tremendous force for good, and I am hopeful that through this post, we may find the “Golden Clinic in the Mountains”, the unknown therapy, or any “Magic Sauce” that can make a difference. There must be something.
My family and several therapists are puzzled, but we are far from giving up. We can't let this horrible disease win! Please feel free to share this post and let this little corner of the internet become a place of trust, hope and support.
