In 2015 Bernhard, the founder of Seatrekking, contacted me if I would like to become part of the film that he were planning to produce. I trained my free-diving skills (almost 5 minutes on a single breath) and we started shooting in Italy, travelled on towards Croatia, Tenerife, South Africa, Brazil and Egypt. We felt like pioneers, exploring the possibilities of Seatrekking all around the globe. Making new friends and sharing experiences of all kinds. For almost a week, we even shared the cold concrete floor in one of Egypts prisons. After intense investigations, the secret service of Egypt understood that we weren’t Israeli spies, just harmless filmmakers with a bad sun burn.
To me Seatrekking is no longer just a sport. I understood its philosophy and I am more than excited to share it with you. THANKS FOR READING!
